Job summary

Banner University Medical Center in Phoenix is seeking a Certified Patient Care Assistant to join our Surgical PCU team. As a PCA on our Progressive Care Unit, you will gain foundational cardiac training, critical thinking skills, and high-acuity experience in units such as ICU, ED, and OR.

This full-time day shift role (3 x 12s, 7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.) includes a $3,000 sign-on bonus for a licensed CNA or LNA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Current CNA license in state of practice.
• 1 year medical clerical or hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and promote patient comfort.
• Collect vitals, document data, and report changes.
• Transcribe orders and support unit operations.
• Maintain medical records and supply levels.
