Job summary

Banner Health’s Banner Ironwood Medical Center in Queen Creek, AZ is seeking a Certified Patient Care Assistant (CNA) for the PCU team. The night shift (6pm–6:30am) involves caring for Progressive Care patients, with a rotating weekend/holiday schedule and a $3,000 sign-on bonus for qualified CNAs.

You will provide routine patient care, assist with daily living activities, collect data, and support the care team in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Current CNA certification in the state of practice is required for new hires and transfers.
• Approximately 1 year of medical clerical experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine patient care to promote comfort and overall care plan.
• Collect vital signs and other delegated measurements; document data.
• Report abnormalities and communicate status to licensed professionals.
• Perform delegated procedures and assist in patient care tasks.
• Handle receptionist/clerical duties to support unit operations.
• Maintain patient records, charting, and supply inventories.
• Assist with transporting patients and OR turnover as needed.
• Work under supervision in a fast-paced clinical setting.
