Job summary

TriStar Centennial Medical Center is seeking an experienced PACU RN to provide immediate post-operative care for surgical patients. You will manage airway support, monitor neurological and cardiac status, and respond to complications, working with the surgical and anesthesia teams in a collaborative environment.

The role requires ACLS/BLS within specified timeframes, a valid RN license, and at least 2 years of RN experience including critical care.

Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 6 months of start date.
• Basic Life Support within 30 days of start date.
• RN license and active registration.
• RN Diploma/BSN/ASN-equivalent educational background.
• At least 2 years of RN experience, with 1 year in Critical care (ICU/ER/PACU).

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a PACU setting.
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams.
• Apply nursing process with critical thinking and leadership.
• Monitor patient condition, document changes, and communicate clearly.
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment, and follow-up.
