Job summary

TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Murfreesboro, TN seeks a PACU Registered Nurse to care for postoperative patients, manage airway support, monitor neurological and cardiac status, and respond to complications. You will collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams and participate in on-call rotations as discussed during interview.

You will use evidence-based practices, contribute to continuous improvement, and educate patients and families about conditions and follow-up care.

Qualifications

• RN license required (state licensure)
• At least 2 years RN experience; 1 year in Critical care (ICU/ER/PACU)
• ACLS within 6 months of start date
• BLS within 30 days of employment start date

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care using evidence-based practices and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams as part of an interdisciplinary group
• Apply nursing process, leadership, and scientific judgment to deliver safe care
• Assess patient condition, monitor status, and document changes thoroughly
• Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatments and follow-up measures
