TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center in Nashville, TN, is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse for a PRN position. You will provide immediate post-operative care, manage airway support, monitor neurological and cardiac status, and respond to complications alongside the surgical and anesthesia teams.

You will participate in on-call coverage during select non-business hours and collaborate with RN float pool staff while delivering evidence-based care and patient education to families.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 6 months of employment start date.
• BCLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• PALS within 6 months of employment start date.
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree
• At least 1 year of critical care experience (ICU, ER, PACU)

Responsabilités

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while applying evidence-based practices.
• Be an integral member of a dynamic interdisciplinary team – provider(s), therapy, and more.
• Consistently apply nursing process, critical thinking, and leadership to deliver safe care.
• Assess patient condition, monitor and document changes throughout the shift.
• Educate patients and families about medical condition, treatment and follow-up
