Job summary

VHC Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for 3A, Cardiac IMCU in Virginia. The RN delivers direct and indirect nursing care, supervises staff, and adheres to hospital policies across shifts.

A strong clinical foundation and ability to communicate effectively are essential. Requirements include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, one year in an acute care setting, Virginia RN licensure (or compact), BLS, and relevant certifications (ACLS/PALS as applicable) for designated units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Nursing required.
• One year of Nursing/Patient Care in an acute care setting is required.
• Licensed RN by Virginia Dept. of Health Professions or compact licensure required; BLS certification required.
• ACLS and/or PALS certifications may be required for designated units; meeting BLS via ACLS/PALS is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Direct and indirect total nursing care for assigned patients.
• Supervise assigned personnel on the unit.
• Demonstrate interpretive, communication, and supervisory skills per department and hospital policies.
