Job summary

VHC Health is seeking a Benefit Alternative Registered Nurse for the CVICU unit in Virginia. The RN will deliver direct and indirect nursing care, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Strong communication and interpretive skills are essential for effective clinical support across shifts. Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, at least one year of acute care experience, and current RN licensure in Virginia or compact state with BLS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Nursing is required.
• One year of Nursing/Patient Care in an acute care setting is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS and/or PALS certifications required or in progress to meet BLS requirements as per policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect total nursing care for assigned patients.
• Supervise assigned personnel and ensure adherence to hospital policies.
• Demonstrate interpretive, communication, and supervisory skills in care delivery.

Education

Bachelor's in Nursing

One year of Nursing/Patient Care in an acute care setting

BLS certification

ACLS/PALS training
