Job summary

Allegheny Health Network in Monroeville is seeking a registered nurse for the 3N IMCU unit. The RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care on a high-acuity cardiac floor under the critical care umbrella, handling chest pain, post-op cardiac patients, and cath care.

You will lead care delivery with peers, participate in quality initiatives, and ensure patient safety with CPR requirements and background checks.

Qualifications

• Current PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure via eNLC.
• CPR certification required.
• Act 34, Act 33, and Act 73 FBI background clearances required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity unit.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients.
• Provide leadership in a professional practice setting and mentor others.
• Delegate tasks based on patient needs and staff competency.
• Promote patient safety and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
