Job summary

VHC Health in Arlington, VA is seeking a Registered Nurse for 3A/Cardiac IMCU on a per-diem basis. You will deliver direct and indirect patient care on a fast-paced cardiac unit, supervise support staff, and ensure compliance with hospital policies.

Strong communication and assessment skills are essential. This role requires an ADN, preferred BSN, at least one year in acute care, and current Virginia RN licensure or compact license, plus BLS; ACLS/PALS as required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing is required.
• One year of nursing/patient care experience in an acute care setting is required.
• Virginia RN license or compact-state licensure is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS/PALS certifications as applicable for ED, ICU, CVICU, and other units.
• De-escalation training per policy is noted.
