ChristianaCare's Heart Failure Unit (5E) at Christiana Hospital in Newark, DE is a 36-bed specialized post‑critical care cardiac unit providing high‑acuity care. The unit includes 12 beds for post‑operative open‑heart surgery and LVAD patients, with RNs responsible for comprehensive care and advanced monitoring.

As an RN on 5E, you will perform advanced assessment, continuous hemodynamic monitoring, medication administration, patient education, and early detection of changes in condition.

Qualificações

• BSN preferred; commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of hire.
• At least one year of RN experience required.
• Delaware RN licensure or eligibility required.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to post‑operative and high‑acuity cardiac patients.
• Perform advanced assessment, continuous hemodynamic monitoring, and medication administration.
• Educate patients and families and detect clinical deterioration early.
