ChristianaCare’s Heart Failure Unit (5E) in Newark, DE seeks an RN to deliver high-acuity care on a 36-bed post-critical care cardiac unit. You will handle advanced hemodynamic monitoring, medications, and patient education for patients with heart failure and post-operative cardiac needs.

BSN preferred with commitment to obtain BSN within three years. At least 1 year RN experience and Delaware licensure eligibility required; BLS required and ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of date of hire.

Responsabilités

• Perform advanced assessment and continuous hemodynamic and cardiac monitoring.
• Administer medications and provide patient education.
• Early detection of changes in patient condition and escalation as needed.
• Care for patients with chest tubes, surgical drains, and central venous catheters.
