Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health seeks an Echocardiographer to perform cardiac ultrasound procedures and assist a credentialed cardiology attending during stress echocardiogram and TEE procedures. A strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology is essential.

Requirements include graduation from a certified cardiovascular technology program or accredited echocardiography specialty, RDMS/RDCS/RCES certification, BLS, and excellent written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a certified cardiovascular technology school and/or graduate of an accredited ultrasonography program with a specialty in cardiac sonography.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac ultrasound procedures.
• Assist a trained, credentialed cardiology attending during stress echocardiogram and TEE procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology.
