Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton, MA seeks a Cardiac Echocardiography Technologist to perform and interpret a range of echocardiography studies in the Cardiology Department, including TEE, dobutamine, and stress echoes, under the direction of the Lead Echo Technologist.

The ideal candidate holds RDCS or ACS certification, GED/HS diploma with higher degrees preferred, health care experience preferred, and is able to coordinate scheduling, ensure quality reporting, and maintain equipment

Qualificações

• Education: GED or HS Diploma required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience: Health care experience preferred.
• Certification/Licensure: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (ACS) certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Performs comprehensive echocardiographic procedures including Echocardiograms, Trans-Esophageal Echocardiograms, Dobutamine Stress Echocardiograms, and Exercise Echocardiograms, in the Cardiovascular lab and in-patient units.
• Recognizes and responds to urgent clinical findings and informs physicians of abnormal results when necessary.
• Collaborates with the multidisciplinary care team and communicates with the Cardiology Department to facilitate service delivery.
• Ensures quality, accuracy, and integrity of documentation and patient reports; data entry and formatting of formal reports.
