Job summary

Carle Health in Saint Paul, MN seeks an Echocardiography Technologist to perform high-quality cardiac ultrasound studies and assist with exercise and pharmacologic stress testing. The role includes using Doppler and M-mode techniques, identifying ECG abnormalities, and coordinating with the cardiologist to provide trusted diagnostic imaging.

Qualifications include ARDMS or CCI registration within 1 year and BLS within 30 days.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI registration within 1 year.
• BLS (AHA) within 30 days.
• Education: Sonography or Related field.
• Work Experience: Accept New Grads.

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality two-dimensional ultrasound studies of the heart and great vessels, and identifies ECG abnormalities or arrhythmia.
• Assists in echocardiography stress testing and related procedures.
• Uses Doppler, color flow, and M-mode techniques to assess cardiac structure and function.
• Operates ultrasound equipment and selects appropriate transducers for optimal resolution.
• Communicates results to cardiologist and maintains documentation and QC processes.
• Participates in regional mobile echo/vascular services and callback rotation.
