The role requires 1-3 years of echocardiography experience, proficiency in 2-D imaging, M-mode, and Doppler, and strong teamwork with healthcare staff. The position offers day shifts, regular hours, and a comprehensive benefits package including a sign-on bonus and student loan repayment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in echocardiography or cardiac sonography
• RDMS/RDCS certification preferred or equivalent
• Proficiency in 2-D imaging, M-mode, and Doppler
• Knowledge of infection control and patient safety protocols

Responsibilities

• Performs echocardiographic studies (2-D imaging, M-mode, Doppler) per standards
• Ensures patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during exams
• Acquires Stress Echo and Dobutamine images within required timeframes
• Assists physicians with transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs)
• Maintains equipment, supplies, and EMR documentation with confidentiality
• Verifies patient identity, orders and consents prior to procedures
• Collaborates with teams to communicate patient conditions to reading cardiologists
• Demonstrates age-appropriate care and adaptability in imaging
• Maintains regular attendance and complies with policies
