Job summary

Lifepoint Health is seeking a Cardiac Ultrasound Technician to perform diagnostic echocardiography and related procedures for patient care in a full-time, in-person capacity. You will participate in Echo, Stress Echo, and Transesophageal Echo procedures and ensure all imaging paperwork conforms to policy.

Applicants must hold ARRT licensure/certification, an Associate degree in Radiologic Science or equivalent, and complete BLS within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist in good standing.
• Graduate of a CAAHEP/JRC-DMS approved School of Cardiac or Vascular Sonography or an AAS degree in Radiologic Science or other healthcare related degree with credential.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic echocardiography exams for physician evaluation.
• Perform or learn Echo, Stress Echo, and Transesophageal Echo procedures.
• Complete all Diagnostic Imaging paperwork.
• Follow all radiology policies and procedures.
• Provide age-appropriate care for the patient population served.
