Intermountain Health seeks an Echo Tech for Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, Colorado. This part-time role (30 hours) supports the clinical team by performing diagnostic cardiac/vascular exams under physician direction, focusing on quality, patient safety, and patient education.

The ideal candidate is a recent echocardiography program graduate or new to the field, with ARDMS/CCI certification and BLS. You will mentor others, coordinate exams, and contribute to continuous improvement

Qualifications

• ARDMS/CCI certification required; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate technical competence for department protocols.
• Prioritize and schedule exams.
• Coordinate exams with medical staff and patients.
• Prepare for exams by verifying patient identity and educating patients.
• Perform ultrasound exams per protocols and maintain quality.
• Document results and apply correct charge codes.
• Mentor caregivers and students in equipment use.
