Job summary

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer for our Lake Norman cardiology location in Mooresville, NC. The role requires performing routine and complex echocardiograms, including 2D/3D, Doppler, and stress studies, in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The position includes on-call coverage, weekend work, and opportunities for professional development within the cardiology department. ARRT/RDMS/RDCS credentials and CPR/BLS are preferred, with ongoing education encouraged.

Qualifications

• Proficient in performing routine and emergency echocardiograms.
• Strong communication with physicians, staff, and patients.
• Ability to work weekends and on-call as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform 2D/3D echocardiography, Doppler, and stress echo under physician direction.
• Prepare preliminary reports for Cardiologist review.
• Maintain equipment and ensure patient safety and confidentiality.
• Participate in quality improvement and educational activities.
