Job summary

Qualifications

• Certificate in Medical Sonography-Cardiac (RDCS or RCS) or equivalent certification.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–2 years of clinical echo experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret 2-D, M-mode, color flow mapping and cardiac Doppler echocardiography in adults and children.
• Maintain PI documentation for cardiac ultrasound and ensure proper procedure charging.
• Explain procedures to patients and families; obtain orders and follow department protocol.
• Contribute to performance improvement activities and maintain IAC accreditation records.
• Assist in patient orientation, ensure comfort, and manage supplies and equipment.
