Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System in Gainesville, GA is seeking a skilled cardiac ultrasound technologist to perform 2-D, M-mode, color flow mapping and Doppler echo in adult and pediatric patients. You will maintain PI documentation and ensure accurate coding and reporting.

Under supervision, you will participate in continuous improvement, patient education, and adhere to safety and accreditation standards while delivering compassionate, high-quality cardiac imaging services.

Qualifications

• Proficient in 2-D, M-mode, color flow mapping and cardiac Doppler echocardiography.
• Good knowledge of cardiac anatomy and pathophysiology.
• Follows department protocol for documentation and coding.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac ultrasound procedures and ensure accuracy of technologist reports.
• Explain procedures to patients and family; maintain patient comfort and safety.
• Maintain PI documentation and contribute to performance improvement activities.
