Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System seeks a skilled Cardiac Ultrasound Technician to perform 2-D, M-mode, color flow mapping and Doppler echocardiography for adults and pediatrics. The role supports cardiologist in transesophageal echo and stress echo, with responsibility for charge coding and PI documentation.

The ideal candidate holds RDCS/RCS certification and a high school diploma, with strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and pathophysiology.

Qualifications

• RDCS or RCS certification required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in adult echocardiography preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all cardiac ultrasound and echo procedures with standardized elements.
• Explain procedures to patients and/or family members.
• Prioritize workload and address urgent cases promptly.
• Maintain PI and ICAEL documentation and records.
• Input procedure data for charges and maintain accurate records.
