Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System in Gainesville, GA seeks a Sonographer to join our imaging team. This role includes performing 2-D, Doppler, vascular and cardiac studies with emphasis on accuracy and patient care.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Medical Sonography - Vascular (RVT) and Cardiac (RDCS or RCS).
• BLS Certification.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Associates Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates proficiency in cardiac ultrasound, echo and vascular procedures per department protocol.
• Accurately explains procedures to patient and family.
• Maintains PI documentation for cardiac/vascular ultrasound.
• Inputs data for charges and ensures proper reading by MD.
