Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates or bachelor's degree in diagnostic medical sonography preferred.
• ARRT radiography license or eligibility required.
• ARDMS RDCS or RVT or CCI RCS or RVS certification options listed.
• Board-eligible with certification within 12 months of hire acceptable.
• Minimum one year cardiovascular imaging experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Able to lift/move patients and equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Review physician orders and verify patient identity and procedure.
• Perform echocardiography studies per policy and accrediting standards.
• Document health history and ensure accurate test reports.
• Communicate data to team and collaborate for patient care.
• Troubleshoot equipment and participate in new device evaluations.
• Maintain registries, complete competencies, and participate in PI.
