Job summary

The Trinity Health-affiliated Mount Carmel Health System in Central Ohio is seeking a Registered Cardiovascular Sonographer to perform vascular diagnostic testing and report preliminary findings for physician interpretation.

Responsibilities include reviewing physician orders, performing studies per policy, ensuring patient comfort, documenting data, and communicating results to the care team while maintaining competency and pursuing ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate or Bachelor's in Diagnostic Medical Sonography preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: ARDMS or CCI board licensure required or eligible.
• Experience: 1 year in cardiovascular imaging preferred, strong communication, BLS.

Responsibilities

• Reviews physician orders to ensure correct procedure and patient identification.
• Performs vascular studies per policy and communicates preliminary findings.
• Obtains health history and documents data in testing systems accurately.
• Communicates data to team and collaborates with departments for patient care.
• Maintains equipment readiness and participates in competency/PI activities.
