Job summary

Mount Carmel Health is seeking a qualified Echo Sonographer for a part-time position in Ohio. The Cardiovascular Imaging team performs echocardiography and vascular tests, with reporting of preliminary findings to physicians.

The role requires patient interaction, accurate data entry, and collaboration with the care team. Minimum qualifications include ARRT registration or eligible, ARDMS/CCI certifications or board eligibility with a plan to certify within 12 months, and BLS.

Qualifications

• High school education required; Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography preferred.
• Registered ARRT or registry eligible.
• ARDMS or CCI certification or board eligibility with plan to certify within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform Echocardiography and/or Vascular diagnostic testing according to policy and accreditation guidelines.
• Report preliminary findings to physician for interpretation.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure comfort and safety during testing.
• Collaborate with healthcare team and document data accurately in the system.
