Job summary

Qualifications

• GED/HS diploma or medical school graduation is required.
• Medical Assistant Certification or LPN license to practice in Florida is required or graduation from an accredited medical school.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC is required.
• 3–5 years of clinical experience is required.
• Supervisory responsibility for 7+ employees is required.
• Adherence to hospital, JCAHO, HIPAA, nursing standards and Florida Nurse Practice Act guidelines is required.
• Familiarity with patient care equipment is expected.

Responsibilities

• Directs, coordinates and controls the clinical activities of staff in an ambulatory clinic.
• Supervises clinical staff and assists physicians to provide quality health care.
• Assists director/manager in ordering capital or new equipment and ensures adequate supplies.
