Job summary

Methodist Hospital Stone Oak in the San Antonio area seeks a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join our team. You will assist physicians during complex cardiac and vascular procedures, prepare patients, operate advanced equipment, and ensure a sterile, patient-centered environment.

The role requires ARRT or RCIS/RCES eligibility, invasive cardiovascular technology training, and a strong commitment to radiation safety and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• One year full-time invasive cardiovascular technology experience OR an associate degree in health/science
• Certified or eligible RCIS/RCES exam within 24 months of start
• ARRT or equivalent radiologic technologist credential

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with cardiac and vascular procedures (angiograms, angioplasties, stent placements)
• Prepare and support patients before, during, and after procedures
• Operate and maintain Cath Lab equipment
• Monitor patient responses and maintain a sterile environment
• Ensure accurate data capture and radiation safety compliance
