Qualifications

• Licenses/certifications listed above are required or strongly preferred.
• Experience handling cardiac cath lab procedures and dedicated equipment is expected.
• Must meet Basic Life Support requirement within 30 days of start.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures such as angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements.
• Prepare and support patients and families with care, education and reassurance before, during and after procedures.
• Operate and maintain advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment.
• Monitor patient responses to ensure the highest level of care, maintaining ALARA and radiation safety.

ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) – Radiography
