Qualifications

• Two (2) years fulltime Invasive Cardiovascular Technology experience (preferred).
• Graduate of an accredited Invasive Cardiovascular Technology program or an equivalent.
• A current RCIS/RCES/ARRT/RRT/NREMT- Paramedic certification or eligible to sit RCIS/RCES exam within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates technical proficiency for all cardiac catheterization procedures as Cardiac Cath Lab Invasive Specialist.
• Identifies cardiac structures and disease processes; assists with data collection.
• Practices radiation safety according to ALARA and regulatory requirements.
• Assists physician with data entry into physiological monitoring systems and hemodynamic measurements.
• Reports ejection fraction and cardiac function assessments using appropriate software.
• Archives procedure data for long-term storage and documentation.
