Applicants should have RCIS/RCES or equivalent certification eligibility, and either an accredited program graduate or an experienced invasive cardiovascular technologist.

• Certification requirements for cath lab technicians must be met.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates technical proficiency for all cardiac catheterization procedures in the primary role.
• Uses data entry and monitoring systems to capture accurate measurements.
• Assists Cardiologist with patient care during procedures.
• Maintains radiation safety (ALARA) and regulatory compliance.
• May take call on a rotating basis.
