Job summary

St. David's North Austin Medical Center in Austin, TX, seeks a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join our perioperative team. You will assist physicians during complex cardiac and vascular procedures, operate advanced cath lab equipment, and support patients and families with care and education.

Requires ACLS within 6 months, BCLS within 30 days, and ARRTR/RCIS certification within 1 year; HS/GED required. We offer comprehensive benefits and career growth opportunities at a premier HCA Healthcare

Qualifications

Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
HS/GED prerequisite.
(ARRT-R) Radiography, or (RCIS) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.

Responsibilities

Assisting physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements.
Preparing and supporting patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures.
Operating and maintaining advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment.
Monitoring patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care.
Safeguarding a sterile, safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient.
