Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville, TX seeks a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join a skilled team that provides advanced care during lifesaving cardiac procedures. You will work with physicians using state-of-the-art cath lab technology, supporting patients and families with education and compassion.

The role emphasizes assisting with angiograms, angioplasties and stent placements, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe, sterile environment for every patient.

Qualificações

• Minimum one year of experience preferred.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support
• RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer, RCIS, or ARRT-VI credentials

Responsabilidades

• Assist physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures such as angiograms, angioplasties and stent placements.
• Prepare and support patients and families with care, education and reassurance before, during and after procedures.
• Operate and maintain advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment.
• Monitor patient responses with vigilance to ensure the highest level of care.
• Maintain a sterile, safe environment and advocate for every patient.
