Job summary

Medical City Las Colinas, part of HCA Healthcare, invites qualified Cardiac Cath Lab Techs to join our team PRN. You will work alongside physicians to perform advanced cardiac procedures in a state-of-the-art cath lab, delivering safe, high-quality care with a compassionate approach.

Responsibilities include assisting with angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements, preparing patients, operating equipment, and maintaining sterile conditions to protect every patient’s well-being.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• 2 years of experience in cardiac cath lab or related field required.
• Acceptable credentials include RCIS, CST, RT or ARRTr.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements.
• Prepare and support patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures.
• Operate and maintain advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment.
• Monitor patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care.
• Safeguard a sterile, safe environment while advocating for every patient.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements

• Preparing and supporting patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures

• Operating and maintaining advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment

• Monitoring patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care

• Safeguarding a sterile, safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• High School Graduate / GED

• (RCIS) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, or (CST) Certified Surgical Technologist, or (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer, or (ARRT-R) Radiography

• 2 years experience Required
