Job summary

Medical City Denton is seeking a Vascular Cath Lab Tech to join our team for 0700–1530 shifts with call responsibilities. You will work alongside physicians to perform complex cardiac and vascular procedures using state-of-the-art cath lab technology, while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities include patient preparation, procedure support, equipment operation, and maintaining sterile conditions.

Qualifications

• Cath Lab experience preferred.
• Current ARRT registry eligible and TDH license.
• Must obtain ARRT certification within 90 days.
• BCLS required; ACLS and EKG certification within 90 days of hire.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures.
• Prepare and support patients and families before, during, and after procedures.
• Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment to deliver safe treatment.
• Monitor patient responses with vigilance and compassion.
• Maintain a sterile, safe environment while advocating for every patient.

From guiding patients and families through their journey to ensuring precision in every step of treatment, you’ll bring both skill and compassion to moments that improve more lives in more ways.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements
• Preparing and supporting patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures
• Operating and maintaining advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment
• Monitoring patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care
• Safeguarding a sterile, safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient

What qualifications you will need:

• Previous Cath Lab experience preferred.
• Current ARRT registry eligible and TDH license
• Must obtain ARRT certification within 90 days
• BCLS required; ACLS and EKG certification within 90 days of hire.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer
• (ARRT-R) Radiography
