Job summary

Medical City Las Colinas is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join the team delivering advanced care during lifesaving cardiac procedures. You will work alongside physicians to guide patients and families through the care journey, using state-of-the-art cath lab technology.

You will assist with angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements, ensuring a sterile environment and precise, compassionate care for every patient.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Certifications include RCIS or CST or RT/ARRT-R.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in cath lab or similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures such as angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements.
• Prepare and support patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures.
• Operate and maintain state-of-the-art cath lab equipment to ensure safe treatment.
• Monitor patient responses with vigilance to ensure high quality care.
• Maintain a sterile, safe environment and advocate for every patient.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements
• Preparing and supporting patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures
• Operating and maintaining advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment
• Monitoring patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care
• Safeguarding a sterile, safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• High School Graduate / GED
• (RCIS) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, or (CST) Certified Surgical Technologist, or (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer, or (ARRT-R) Radiography
• 1 year experience Required
