Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support the Cardiac Unit at St. Marys Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, CO. The role emphasizes patient care, safety, and collaboration with the nursing team.

The position is part-time with variable two 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays. A valid Colorado CNA and BLS are required, along with solid computer literacy and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Current CNA license in Colorado.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care including hygiene, mobility, and comfort.
• Document patient care data and report changes promptly.
• Monitor patients and assist with telemetry as required.
• Transport medications to RN within unit.
• Collaborate with RN and care team to ensure quality care.
• Possibly perform Health Unit Coordinator duties as needed.
• Follow plan of care and safety policies.
