Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a Cardiac Testing Patient Navigator to support patients through the continuum of cardiac care. You will assist with understanding treatment options, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and coordinating with families, while maintaining patient confidentiality.

The role requires strong cultural competency, excellent communication, and accurate data entry within NextGen EMR/EPM.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Two years of experience in a health care environment.
• Cardiology knowledge and EMR experience preferred (eCW/Meditech).

Responsibilities

• Assist and guide Cardiac Testing patients through the continuum of care and testing.
• Schedule appointments, review records in EMR/EPM, and verify insurance and referrals.
• Perform clerical duties, manage calls, maintain confidentiality, and support the care team.
