Job summary

Affirm is seeking a Compliance Manager to own compliance advisory for the Affirm Card program, making independent, risk-based calls across marketing, onboarding, disputes, and remediation in collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Operations.

You will review and approve card marketing, disclosures, and UX to ensure regulatory compliance and consumer protection. Remote-first with flexible in-person onboarding may apply across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Experience in a compliance advisory role within financial services, with card/payments focus.
• Strong knowledge of EFTA (Reg E) and TILA (Reg Z)/CARD Act for card products.
• Ability to work independently in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and escalate when needed.

Responsibilities

• Own compliance advisory for the Affirm Card program, partnering with Product, Engineering, and Operations.
• Lead root-cause analysis and remediation for card compliance issues.
• Support regulatory exams and bank partner audits related to the card program.
• Maintain the card program's compliance risk assessment and control inventory.
