Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Manager, CAR-T Manufacturing Operations in Summit, NJ. This role leads compliant, safe, and reliable commercial CAR-T manufacturing activities in an aseptic cGMP environment, providing direct leadership to manufacturing staff and ensuring adherence to quality standards.

Responsibilities include scaling operations, coaching, training, and ensuring schedule adherence, while driving continuous improvement and Lean initiatives across teams and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, engineering, biotechnology, or related discipline required.
• Experience in regulated cGMP manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead compliant, safe, and reliable CAR-T manufacturing operations in aseptic cGMP environment.
• Provide leadership, training, and real-time support to manufacturing personnel.
• Oversee batch record review, documentation, and data integrity; ensure ALCOA+ adherence.
• Manage workforce planning, staffing, scheduling, hiring, onboarding, and performance management.
• Drive safety culture, continuous improvement, and Lean manufacturing principles.
