ACV Auctions is seeking an enthusiastic Inspector who loves cars and wants to join a growing company. Inspectors are the face of ACV, sharing knowledge with clients and ensuring accurate condition reports.

Our team values trust, transparency, credibility, and customer service as we travel to dealerships, inspect vehicles, and write detailed condition reports that support our online auction platform.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in the automobile field with customer service background.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to work outside in the elements for extended periods.
• Problem solving aptitude to meet challenges with resourcefulness.
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision while in a team.
• Excellent communicator with the ability to understand customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of vehicles at dealerships, auctions, and off-lease to detect damage, missing parts and mechanical issues.
• Prepare and submit a report of vehicle condition, repair/replacement cost estimates, and related documentation.
• Assist sales team with up-sell or cross-sell opportunities.
• Interface with dealers to develop client satisfaction and strong relationships.
• Travel to dealerships and homes to inspect and write condition reports.
