Job summary

RTX is seeking a flight test leader to manage an engineering team and drive integration, verification, and field qualification testing across multiple programs. You will conduct lab, van, tower, and airborne tests, analyze results, and generate detailed reports.

The role requires a STEM degree, FAA clearance eligibility, and experience with test instrumentation and telemetry. Occasional travel is expected; on-site in Tucson, AZ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in STEM with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Active or ability to obtain up to class III FAA flight clearance.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with captive carriage and flight test bed.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of up to 10 flight test engineers across multiple programs.
• Perform integration, verification, and field qualification testing.
• Create/modify documentation for tests, TRR, CTS, and TDR.
• Interact with government customers and coordinate with subcontractors.
• Analyze data, report results, and drive issue resolution.
