Job summary

RTX is seeking a Flight Test Project Lead to drive developmental flight test projects from startup through execution and closure, ensuring alignment with cost, schedule, and performance objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to develop requirements and oversee aircraft modification activities enabling safe mission execution.

The role supports Next Gen Testbed and other FTO platforms, with on-site work at Ontario or El Segundo, California, and travel to test

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in system development, integration, and test efforts.
• Experience with classified and SAP programs.

Responsibilities

• Own test project budget and schedule, including cost forecasting and status reporting.
• Coordinate across engineering disciplines and functional teams to meet milestones for execution.
• Assist in development of proposals for new flight test business.
• Coordinate integration efforts with aircraft maintenance, engineering, and operation teams to meet RTX flight test program objectives and customer flight test schedules.
