Qualifications

• Minimum high school graduate or equivalent; related college courses desirable.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in a correctional setting, supervisory experience preferred.
• Emotionally stable, cooperative, and empathetic to inmates' total needs.

• Direct security and control operations as shift commander.
• Oversee staff, inmate supervision, and safety; prepare records and reports.
• Develop and implement custody, security, and treatment policies and procedures.
• Coordinate staffing for security supervisors and officers and ensure training.
