The GEO Group, Inc. is seeking a Captain to oversee security and control operations on a shift. You will supervise staff, ensure inmate supervision and safety, and prepare records and reports. You will develop and implement policies and coordinate staff for security tasks.

Qualifications include a minimum high school diploma with 3+ years in a correctional setting, including supervisory duties. Strong leadership and teamwork are essential to foster compliance and safety within the facility.

Qualifications

• Excellent leadership skills, flexibility, team spirit and the ability to work with a diverse group of people.
• Minimum high school graduate or equivalent; related college courses highly desirable.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in a correctional setting, one of which was in a position requiring supervisory capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Direct security and control operations as shift commander.
• Oversee staff and ensure inmate supervision and safety.
• Prepare records and reports; implement policies and procedures.
