Job summary

IFF Health & Biosciences in Clackamas, OR is seeking a manufacturing operator to support production goals and quality in a cGMP environment. This nonexempt role reports to the Shift Supervisor and requires adherence to safety and documentation guidelines.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or GED, 1–3 years in manufacturing, and basic English communication, math, and computer skills. Willingness to work 2pm–10:30pm and to train others as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–3 years’ manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English; basic math and computer skills.
• Experience with FDA/cGMP compliance is preferred.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
• Must pass a drug screen and a background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate an automatic encapsulation machine according to work instructions.
• Set-up and breakdown of machine and fixtures for processing.
• Adhere to safety policies and maintain a clean, orderly work area.
• Complete documentation accurately per established guidelines.
• Train someone and participate in a task force to improve procedures.
• Recognize and respond to out-of-control events and restart safely.
