Job summary

International Flavors and Fragrances (IFF) seeks a non-exempt Machine Operator for our HWP production line in Clackamas, OR. You will operate an automatic encapsulation machine, perform setup/breakdown, and ensure quality in a cGMP environment.

Expect 2pm–10:30pm shifts, with potential overtime for business needs. A high school diploma or GED and US work authorization are required, along with the ability to pass safety and background checks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• One to three years in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to read and write and communicate in English.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
• Must pass a drug screen and a background check per HWP standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate an automatic encapsulation machine.
• Set up and breakdown of machine and fixtures for processing per guidelines.
• Make minor adjustments to machines as needed.
• Move and stack buckets of materials and load tubs to work centers.
• Visually and manually inspect capsules for quality.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area and report safety issues.
