Evening Capsule Production Technician

Job summary

IFF is a global leader in flavors, fragrances, food ingredients and health & biosciences. This role is based in Clackamas, OR and supports HWP production goals in a cgmp environment, with a 2pm–10:30pm shift.

You will operate an automatic encapsulation machine, perform setup/breakdown, quality inspections, and documentation, and participate in safety and training activities. A strong teamwork orientation is required.

Qualifications

• English reading and writing capability for basic documentation.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English, use basic shop math and basic computer skills.
• Experience with FDA/cGMP compliance is preferred.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
• Must pass a drug screen and a background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate an automatic encapsulation machine.
• Set-up and breakdown of machine and fixtures for processing.
• Perform simple adjustments to machines during processing.
• Move and stack buckets of materials and load tubs to work centers.
• Visually and manually inspect capsules to compliance with guidelines.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and report safety issues.
• Complete documentation per established guidelines.
• Train others and participate in process improvement efforts.
• Work collaboratively with coworkers.
