Job summary

IFF is seeking a Packaging Operator for its Clackamas, OR site in the IFF Health & Biosciences division. You will learn operator roles, document batch records, and operate packaging equipment in a GMP environment to ensure quality and safety.

The role requires English literacy, basic math, and manufacturing experience; shift is 10pm–6:30am, Sunday through Thursday, with overtime possible as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months to 2 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with conveying, sealing, inspection, and packaging equipment is desirable.
• English literacy and basic math skills required.
• FDA/cGMP knowledge preferred.
• A legal right to work in the United States.
• Must pass a drug screen and a background check.

Responsibilities

• Learn operator roles and SOPs for the assigned area and equipment.
• Complete batch records and forms in an accurate and timely manner.
• Operate assigned equipment in a safe, productive, and timely manner.
• Perform machine changeover and cleaning as scheduled by the production plan.
• Weigh, count, document and verify materials used in the area.
• Keep work area clean, organized and in compliance with GMP.
