Job summary

University of Nebraska – Lincoln seeks an Engineering and Technology Education Lead to assess hardware, software, and data needs for capstone projects and define initial technical requirements. You will support projects through their lifecycle and coordinate with Design Studio staff and sponsors.

The role involves onboarding capstone projects, managing IT inventory, SaaS usage, and technical coordination for events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or related technical field is required.
• 1 year of experience in IT services management or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage/prioritize tasks.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to network and build relationships with partners.

Responsibilities

• Support onboarding of annual capstone projects and serve as a technical advisor for student teams.
• Procure and manage IT equipment inventory.
• Manage SaaS usage and expenditures.
• Coordinate technical components of annual Design Studio and Raikes School events.
• Provide technical support across the Raikes School including cloud services and collaboration platforms.
• Serve as primary administrator of the Raikes School website and liaison with University ITS and AV teams.
