Job summary

University of Nebraska–Lincoln is seeking an Engineering and Technology Education Lead to collaborate with Design Studio staff and capstone project sponsors to define hardware, software, and data needs across project lifecycles.

Responsibilities include onboarding annual capstone projects, advising student teams, managing IT inventory, SaaS budgets, and coordinating technical components of Design Studio and Raikes School events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/SE or related field with 1 year IT services management experience.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks with strong communication.
• Familiarity with modern software development tools and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Onboard annual capstone projects.
• Serve as technical advisor for student teams with Design Studio staff.
• Procure and manage IT equipment inventory.
• Manage SaaS usage and expenditures.
• Coordinate and execute technical components of Design Studio and Raikes School events.
• Administer cloud-based services, source control systems, and collaboration platforms.
• Administer Raikes School website and liaise with University ITS and audio-visual teams.
